But, you really shouldn't let it bother you so much.Β I constantly spam artwork, but I'm only at 17,000 page views, which is pretty low if I'm doing my math right.Β There are so many variables to page views and faves and stuff, they really aren't a good indication of how good you are artistically.Β
If anything, this should give you more motivation to improve your artistic skills though

And, well, popularity is overrated anyway.Β Some of the super-popular artists here get hundreds, if not thousands, of comments, faves, etc. each day.Β When that happens, they just seem to loose their value apparently, and they seem more like a curse. Β Β

I have no idea who this guy is, but again with all the variables that determine popularity on dA, it doesn't necessarily have to be an "artists."
I mean, have you seen the front page?Β 
If you really want page views (I strongly suggest that they don't become your only motivation for art), you have to conform to the mainstream and only give what the people want.Β That would probably consist of: anime/manga (copied from professional artists), MLP (bases are very popular, especially the traced ones), and others of the sort.Β To me it doesn't seem very fun or enjoyable, but that's my advise to you.Β

You also might want to try Β That'll get you some watchers and stuff, but it'll cost you.Β
They're also not real watchers though.Β These people will just do anything for points.Β Most watchers are inactive in popular members though too.Β One or two active watchers and good friends is actually a lot better than a thousand inactive ones, because they give you the support that people need.Β But, if all you want is just sheer popularity, dAHub is definitely the easiest option. Β

Quality not quantity!Β That's important to remeber while drawing. Just improve, draw what you love, and the views will come along with it.

Don't get jealous over views. Just because someone views their page more than you doesn't mean anything.
