The pond of my mind is rippled
Insane thoughts of uselessness
Spin in my head, cloudy
Tears stain my cheeks
Like rain on the streets
Undone faith
That was keeping me safe
Confusing signs
That leave me blind
Wings of demons
Angels
And serpents
I feel lost in the crowd
Left and beaten down
The pain that was my drug
Only made sure my grave was dug
