"we don't take you to Church to pray man, we taking you because you need to be taken" i think this sums up alot of what organized religion is they think that they know the way but in truth you ask ALOT of Christians now or days if they've read their holy book and alot of them will give you blank stares

I remember one time i asked a witness if he had read the passage dealing with witnessing to people, and quoted "plant the seed and let it grow do not drowned it, for it is by nurture you will bring them to me" or something along those lines and he said that he had never heard it and only knew that he was supposed to witness to someone about his faith.....yeah witness DON'T HAMMER IT INTO OUR HEADS!

Sadly, many people are so consumed with their own self-righteousness that they can't see the difference between witnessing and hellfire scare-tactics.

I'd be ironic if Christ comes back and takes away everyone but the modern-day Pharisees that are known as "Christians".

agreed....this is a subject i could go on and on about and it drives alot of my friends mad because they don't see why i just don't drop it

Same with my family. Surprised they haven't thrown me to the wolves, really. Or made me watch the Exorcist, but then again they probably think I'd LIKE it.
