Then in my dying darkness
I saw her
Brown hair
Pale skin
As if not touched by sin

Her smile was innocent
With a hint of a hedonist

She wanted the world
Of pain

The strain of chains
As she struggled to escape

It was what we could not ignore

Pain of the whip cracks
Pain of the knife
