Pencil drawing of Merco, a very cool boss from the game Mischief Makers. You can see him in action: [link]I don't know if any of you've played or even heard of Mischief Makers, as it was a very underrated N64 game. It's too bad though, because that game had so many awesome game concepts! You could surf on missiles, throw a boss's own fist back at him, abuse kittens, and even ride a tricycle!
Fortunately, there's youtube videos of every level, and one of the uploaders is obscenely good! Do a search if you have time.

i seriously hated fighting him the last time.. was a pain but i think he was my favorite out of all the bosses. I liked his attitude and character design the best. I miss my nintendo 64 :0 i need to set it up and play this game again.

Very awesome sketch. I remember this game very well. Fighting Merco for a second time when he's using the Phoenix Gamma mech was a real pain. The game should get a sequel, most treasure games have such good quality that goes unseen.

One of my favorite character designs, even though technically the player cannot play as Merco. (Yes, it's a boss character, and does hark back on a bit of the protagonist in Alien Soldier from Treasure).

You must've seen bigger screens of him, I couldn't find any greater detail of him in the video. But you drew him very smoothly, and his eyes let everyone know for sure that they shouldn't mess with him.

yeah, there's one official art of him I based the design off of. you can google 'merco' (sorry, I'm just lazy). the pose was very different tho, so it was a challenge.
