QUICK NOTE: This is not pro-Russian rhetoric regarding the current war between Russia and Ukraine. Since in my setting Unitum Invictum, Russia doesn't go to war with Ukraine due to the impeding alien invasion. I am saying so that nobody thinks I support Putin and his horrible regime. Also as it turns out, the Russians have a marine corps :l.

GENERAL:
In the early 2020s, the Russian military had to significantly upgrade and modify their military. However, they couldn't properly afford to do so. Although they did get some help from across the world (Due to humanity about to be on the brink of extinction), so they ended with better versions of what they already had, and the T14-Armata would be better generally (no engine breakdowns). The Russians would also modify equipment to be more combat effective. The Russians would also adopt more guerilla warfare-style tactics and strategies.

ARCTIC:
Used for arctic/antarctic conditions, also used in mountain ranges and snowy places.

WOODLAND:
The woodland camo is used for forested environments, including jungles, forests, etc.

URBAN:
Used in urban and suburban environments, also used by Russian military police, who, much like other military police branches across the world during the Invader War, would double as a reserve military force.

ARMY/MARINE:
The standard camo pattern.

HS-270 ASSAULT RIFLE:
The HS-270 Assault Rifle would use the same calibre rounds as the AK-12, the 5.45mm rounds. With a standard magazine capacity of 30, the HS-270, although much better quality than the AK-12 and AK-47, would prove to be hard to implement at first until 2031, when many Russian towns, villages and cities, including Moscow would be hit by Invader forces (Moscow was already hit by one of the Invaders' bombs that could level cities, but it somehow mostly survived).
