Description
The 1118th Special Operations Corps was one of several elite Special Operations Corps that served the Republic during the Clone Wars.
This unit has seen action throughout the known galaxy and also across many of the territories in the unexplored and little known zones. Troops in this unit were known to operate in small groups and to operate under cover of night. Known for infiltrating enemy bases and often killing all base occupants without even needing to fire a single shot. The Separatists who were forced to face this unit dubbed them "The Black Ghosts", due to the fact that the men of this unit were able to completely wipe out an enemy base without even being noticed.
All members of this unit received rigorous and hellish training, in addition to receiving specialized training for several different types of environments.
This unit, in a few days and with few men, was capable of carrying out tasks and entire missions, which entire legions were not capable of accomplishing. This unit played the role of the game changer many times, and it was the brave men of this unit who turned countless battles that were already considered lost, in favor of the Republic.
This unit remained in service for another five years after the end of the Republic , during the fifth year of the Empire , the men of this unit received the task of training several human recruits , who would be responsible for taking the place of the clones , after they became reform . These new recruits would become the new stormtroopers of the 1118th Special Operations Corps, and would become a great pride for the empire, as they would keep the memory of the ancestors of that unit and maintain the pride and honor of the same.
