Description
The 628th Legion "The Night Demons", was an elite legion that was led by Jedi Master Eli Dwayne and Senior Commander Darkness. The 628th Legion was a unit specializing in night combat. The men of this legion were constantly sent to planets where darkness dominated, planets where the nights were eternal and where light practically did not exist.The 628th Legion was well known for its strong union, and for its stealthy and aggressive combat tactics. The men of the 628th Legion were fierce and ruthless fighters, ready to lay down their lives for the Republic and its people.
During the events of Order 66, Darkness was unable to execute General Dwayne, this is because Dwayne was on a solo and secret mission on a Separatist planet, and it was this mission that saved Dwayne's life. During the first few months of the Empire, the 628th Legion dedicated their time to hunting down Master Dwayne, but they never found him. Dwayne was able to stay hidden from Imperial radar for several years, and some time later he would join the Rebel Alliance, taking an active part in the Civil War.
