War was the Clone Commandante who was responsible for leading the 1800th Battalion. The 1800th Battalion was formed during the early part of the second year of the Clone Wars, and was placed under the command of Jedi Master Sevu Moltet. War quickly formed a strong bond of friendship and trust with Master Molted, and not just War but everyone else the clones of the 1800th Battalion.
Under the command of Molted and War, the 1800th battalion quickly gained a reputation as a ruthless and deadly unit .
War was a fierce and merciless man, known for being an excellent and deadly combatant. He always led his men from the front, leading them in complete exterminations .
War was an excellent leader and a great strategist. He planned , coordinated and led large military operations from the front , which were carried out by the men of the 1800th Battalion . His excellent performance led him to be considered a war hero many times.
During the last moments of the Clone Wars, War was leading the 1800th Battalion in battle on a breakaway planet. The battle was already in its final stages, just missing a few remaining droid forces. It was while General Moltet was busy eliminating a group of the last Battledroids, that Commander War received order 66, as soon as he received this order, the Commander pointed one of his pistols at Master Molted and fired, as soon as the Commander fired, Moltet looked back and the shot hit one of his eyes, Molted fell to the ground, his left eye blown out like most of his face. When some of the clones went to see if the Jedi Master was really dead, they were surprised, the Jedi was still alive but unconscious, as the soldiers prepared to finish the job and kill the Jedi, Commander War ordered his men to tie the Jedi. and put him on a ship to Coruscant. During the journey to Coruscant, the clone doctors treated General Molted and ensured that he arrived at his destination alive.
On Coruscant General Molted would be horribly tortured psychologically and physically. All of the Jedi's beliefs and hopes would be shattered, and in the end he would be completely corrupted by the dark side of the force. Molted would become a jedi hunter in the service of the empire, until the day he was killed by a jedi master, a woman of the Togruta race.
Meanwhile, War continued his military service for another five years until the day of his retirement. During the third year of the Empire, War began to receive some stormtroopers in his battalion, to fill the gaps that had been left in the battalion by the clones that had died in past battles .
War originally did not look very positively upon Stormtroopers, but over time he would eventually come to respect them and see them as equals and as brothers in arms.
