Master was a Senior Commander clone of the Grand Army of the Republic. Master was a man who received specialized training from many different types of specialization branches of the army , he received these trainings of his own free will in order to become a better soldier . He really became a great soldier and thanks to the fact that he specializes in many different types of branches he can handle many different types of missions and lead a huge range of different trooper units.
The Master at some point in the clone war would talk to some jedi and republic officials a great idea that he had just recently, this idea boiled down to creating and training a clone unit that would become known as Multifunctional Trooper, which like Master they would be trained in a wide range of different branches of army specialization. As is easy to imagine training these types of soldiers could take a long time, as the clones chosen to become a Multifunctional soldier had to receive extreme training for several different branches of specialization that existed in the army, as a result there were very few multifunctional soldiers in the entire army of the Galtic Republic and most of those that existed were placed in a Division consisting only of this type of soldiers and also only a few legions were lucky enough to possess these soldiers.
Multifunctional troopers were the greatest pride of the Commander Master, who was now in charge of training these new troopers and had become the Grand Director of the Multifunctional Troopers training program.
