Whelp, voting ended and you, ma bois, decided i should do it!
oh my god...*screaming internally*

Sooo i picked few pieces of the oldest pony art i could find, because my human-oid art at the time was basically bases and recolors of Arthur and the Invisibles (yeah. dont ask.)
These were drawn at about 2011-2012... year of the struggle for me.

How did it start? Well, i was browsing some videos in youtube and accidentally stumbled upon Mlp:FIM episode. At the time I only knew of the older versions of the show, so this was quite a good treat for me and soon i was pulled into the fandom.

1. Liking the show style, i wanted to draw some ponies of my own, but had hard time getting the anathomy right, so I used countless of bases. These were few of my attempts to redraw some of the bases.
2. This one was before the #1 tbh, but i only now realised it XD My first ever oc! Fire Splash!(also my first even confident art. I was so proud of it, goddammit!) She was created with pony maker, i still have the very first picture Splash lol. Her mane changed at least 3 times during her lifespawn. It was hell.
3. While taking bases as references did improve my skills, I sometimes drew ponies freely and that would oftenly lead to some... weird proportions. But i didnt give up, and now that I found my own style, bases are strictly a no-no!
4. I wasnt very confident with my coloring skills (not to mention i had really... bad pencils) so I usually would just slap some base colors on the drawing and leave it there. Good times.

...Thats all for now! Most of my older art looked like this, so i didnt want to put too many similar pictures together. My biggest improvement happened during 2013-2014 year, but I wouldnt count those pictures as "old art" yet.
