Description
The leaves are dead.The trees are bare.
The sky is grey.
The hills are 5,000 shades of brown and evergreen.
The clouds are ready to burst with snow.
Damn you power lines. Damn you hard.
Edit: Fixed some color levels. I don't know why I like this one. But I do. And the awful lighting is really annoying me.

the lighting reminds me of the weather here these days. it's oh so foggy and I'm not able to take some appropriate winter shots.
your shot's actually fine, it's playing with different focuses and it's got nice colours. somehow I think it's divided into thirds: the lower part of the cattails, the meadow with the woods and the blue sky. nicely done.

it was dusk.. so that is as good as the lighting gets without making the sky overwhelmingly white.. and yes.. the.. "meadow.." *shifty eyes* it was taken right by a road.. the grass is the bank just before the road, then a bit of land, then the hill.. I made sure the angle didn't show the road.. damn human advancement..

the more I look at the pic, the more I like it, though.. I just wish the lighting were a BIT better.. but it WAS dusk..
