                                           Prologue


       Sunlight filtered in through the open window. The pollen- burdened breeze twiddled through the casement, fluttering around the room; trying to find a place to rest. It debating several areas; blowing papers around and rustling a plant's leaves; before settling on a lilac sheet, ruffling them like a stone on a creek.

       The shift of the sheets seemed to rustle more than just that though. A very beautiful woman was awoken. She was a pale woman with dark hair. Sunlight filtered through her open window, onto her light purple sheets. She opens her eyes, her dark eyelashes highlighted by the early bright. Her blue eyes contrasted brilliantly with the auburn highlight of the sun on her hair, which fell over her thin shoulders, onto her bare chest.

       She pushed herself up, causing the sheets to fall down, revealing a man lying next to her. He, also unclad, was also uniquely perfect, although in a strikingly different way. He laid there, the lilac blanket resting low on his chest, showing the perfect, tan chisel-work of his chest, which rose and fell slowly with his deep sleep. He had beautifully symmetric and prominent collarbones, and a thick neck. Yet he, just like the woman, wore all his glory on his face. It was a face of gold set upon a square jaw, with a thick but proportional nose and large, voluminous lips. His eyelids moved, relaying his dreams. His blonde bangs covered his eyes.
The woman stated at the man for a while. She reached her hand up, hesitated, but then brushed the bangs from his eyes. She pushed the sheet off of her, tucking in the man with a peck on the forehead, and then walked over to the window.
       She suddenly turned away, gasping. Ah. I wasn't expecting the wind to be so cold. Normally the Eastern Winds aren't this chilly. Must be a storm on the winds. She walked over to a chair in the corner and grabbed a white button up shirt, throwing it on like a robe. She stopped and stared at the man. Taking a step closer, she took a deep breath; then slowly walked up. She stood over him for a while. Then, slowly, she leaned down. When she was within but an inch of his face, she released her breath. She daren't wake him up. His beauty rest was the most important beauty rest she would ever know.

       One wrong move and she was a goner.

       One wrong move and she'd be dead…
