Helicopter and jungle sounds could be heard in the arena, confusing several fans. Then, a few lines from the 1987 movie Predator were quoted:
"I'm scared, Poncho!"
"Bullsh*t! You ain't afraid of no man!"
"There's something out there waiting for us ... and it ain't no man!"
Silence fell over the arena ... for a mere few seconds! Then sirens started to blare, followed by Lordi's "Man Skin Boots". Here, the fans finally received the answer to that strange intro, as Blonde Nova, the face of VWW's most prolific decade, made her entrance ... dressed like a literal Predator! Pausing to take off her mask, which she quickly tossed aside, she gave off an impressive battle cry while mimicking the Predator's stance. The fans roared in excitement. Meanwhile, the ring announcer did his job.
"Introducing the challenger ... she represents Vixxen's World of Wrestling and comes to us from Germany! She ... is the Alpha Predator! The Devil's Bride ... Bloooooooonde Noooooooooooooovaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
The fans cheered and chanted along the lyrics to her song. In the ring, Athena Vain's eyes never left her approaching challenger, taking a deep breath as she prepared for the fight of her life. Nova's blue eyes stared back at her, unblinking, full of fire and determination. The hint of a smirk appeared on her face as she entered the ring and began taking off the obstructive parts of her armor. Not to mention, the definitely illegal to use gauntlets. Only then, the bell sounded again. The referee instructed both women about the rules, neither listened, already engaged in a staredown. With zero fear, the veteran Nova got in the champion's face. Immediately, Athena lowered her head, going forehead-to-forehead, refusing to be intimidated. A knowing smirk appeared on Nova's face. The grin of a hungry shark. The referee, finally having enough of falling on deaf ears, called for the bell again.
The arena exploded in cheers. Now ... it was on!
