I know something about this character, I've got all three books by Drew. Seems interesting, but unless, those designs can capture something of the sheer originality as the late Ralph McQuarrie did, all of these Extended Universes just seem to be wanting for desire. I like your style, though.

thanks, i knew i wanted the picture to be of him with the campfire underneath and the moon light behind to make sure and drive that feeling home a bit.. but i really made it because it was a period in time when i was drawing him a lot and getting a lot of inspiration from the characters personal determination^-^
i mean, i still do now i just haven't drawn him in a bit and the knowledge of the books details are starting to fade:/
