"... The subject is more creative with it's attack maneuvers but it's reaction to pain is still to much of a hindrance for it's survival.... also curious if acid blood is a thing, that would be pretty rad."
I'm just gonna get my thoughts on the movie out of the way here... I'm conflicted, the feeling is there, the actors are on their game but the writing for the characters and some plot progression is painful and hard to overlook.

It's kinda hard to say... because it's a visually pretty movie that has some good gore and intense scenes, and good actors doing an awesome job with.... a terrible script... the biggest problem this movie suffers is both screenplay and written story. The story starts with a plot convenience that could easily be over looked if it weren't the starting off point for the characters making more and more bad decisions that don't make sense.
But on the plus side all the dumb stuff is actually so poorly written that there are some legitimately laughable scenes, so if you feel like your the type who can enjoy a disjointed movie for all the bits of good and the bits of "so bad it's funny" then yes, see it
I get something out of it any which way because I like thinking about poorly written scripts/stories like this and what solutions I could come up with to fix it in the imaginary situation that I'm in charge of the movie... sometimes I even think of some really intense scenes I could later use in a comic:]

Yeah, then you'd probably pull your hair out if you watched it cause the plot sucks a big ole dongus.
I was just listing the positives and negatives and saying that over all it is a bad movie that you could laugh at(if that's your thing)... but as a fan of the series/genre/movies in general you'd probably cry on the inside because it doesn't look like Ridley Scott is going to do the concept any justice. He is clearly obsessing over just the Android perspective which leaves me curious about whether his influence on the next Blade Runner film will help it or hurt it.

It's a classic so I'd say yes... like if a movie stays popular many years after it's been made I say it's worth watching to at least formulate your own opinions on it.
Personally I liked it, and like with any old movie you kinda have to come at it with the perspective of the time.. some "cliches" hadn't become cliches, movies some times felt a little long because of sweeping shots with musical scores putting you in the mood of the film/world... it's little stuff that might rub people the wrong way now-a-days with how fast paced movies can be, or how they're filled to the brim with cliches like they're trying to fulfill a standard quota.
Sorry for the long winded run around, I recommend it, but don't let all the hype sway you one way or the other, just take from it what you will:]
