This is my second attempt at pastels. I liked my first one better. I think doing a baby for my second try was a bit overconfident. Those babies have such tiny delicate features. Anyway, it is what it is.Related content

I know its an odd thing to comment on, but you got that 'baby bear' absolutely spot on.
I'm amazed at your results, especially given that this is only Pastel number 2. I had an art teacher that made me do about 20, and none of them were ever as good as this. All I had to show for my efforts was a bruised looking fingertip and a lot of dust.

Thanks, that's not a weird thing to comment on at all. I practiced drawing that little bear on typing paper before I did it on the baby's outfit. If I was able to capture one square inch spot on as you say then I'm very happy!
