Description
Flypaper was a newspaper strip that I had a few years ago. It featured the antics of a dragonfly named Mortimer and his pal Newt that happened to be a newt. There were a few other critters but these two were the main focus.

Flypaper only ran in a few papers, and only for just over a year. In retrospect I see that it wasn’t very good and not even that original. I can look on it now and see that it was little more than a poor man’s Pogo – though not nearly as well drawn as the great Walt Kelly’s masterpiece. Still, at the time it was my baby and I’m proud of it nonetheless.

Oh, and sorry for the poor scan. I had to pull it off of an old newspaper – I have no idea where the original is.

It was originally drawn with India ink on Bristol board.
