History: Sai was born the son of Bludgeon, along with his twin Staruss and their half brother, Ronin. They were a broken family, with constant infighting and abuse. One day it all would come to a head, when Ronin murdered their own creator after enduring so much. Ronin and the twins went their separate paths, having to find a new mentor and a new home now the Bludgeon was dead.
Sai was damaged and disheartened from his upbringing, he would have gone rogue if it weren't for his more optimistic twin, who he always stuck by.
Staruss lead him to the Autobots, where she hoped to start a better life for them. Unfortunately Sai didn't settle in well, however. His complicated past left him with trust and authority issues, leading him to be cold towards other Autobots, leaving him to be an unliked outcast.

Sai was in need of a proper mentor, someone to guide him through his difficult journey, and train him to become a better warrior.
Unknown to him, an Autobot would come into his life to fill that role.
One day, he would be paired on a mission with the Autobot known as Sharpblaze,a highly ranked warrior who was ordered to look after the young new recruit.
Sai did not like the idea of being looked after and gave Sharpblaze a hard time at first, but he had no idea what this mission would have in store for them. The powerhouse of a Mercenary known as Executioner showed up, and was completely destroying both Autobots in battle.
Their lives were nearly claimed, but Sharpblaze's noble spark lit their darkest hour, as he was dedicated to protecting the young Autobot he was responsible for. In the end Sharpblaze reigned victorious, and the two Autobots were saved.

Sai was deeply moved by this display of Nobility. Sharpblaze was on the brink of death, yet he pushed himself past his limits to save someone he hardly knew. For the first time in his life, Sai had met someone who truly inspired him. He gained tremendous gratitude and respect for Sharpblaze in that moment, this was someone he wanted to be like. Someone, whom he would want to call his Master.
From there on, Sai became a disciple to Sharpblaze, fiercely loyal and always at his side.
