Day 21 called for my favorite Pokemon to use in battle.I couldn’t help but think back to all the good times I’ve had leaving a trail of destruction in my wake with Charizard in the original Red and Fire Red versions.
His design is so well thought out, all of his volumes and shapes compliment one another, and I love how his wings were designed properly (i.e. with functioning joints) instead of just upside down V’s with skin stretched between them. That’s always been a peeve of mine with dragon/creature designs.

Oh and I always thought of the wings in the original design to be similar to pterosaur wings but without the 3 minor fingers and left with the one huge supporting finger.
