Four recent holsters I tried making. One westernlike 1911, a mediumsized universal holster, a formpressed m9holster (for m92, m9, regular and teethed slide), and a tight 1911 cross-bejeweled holster (for TM//KJW 1911 airsofts with the thinner slides)All for sale

terrific! Do you tool the leather and then mold it over the gun? like on the bottom left, or do you tool it after molding, while the guns still in there?

That one I did engrave while having the gun there to keep the leather in place, and I do so every chance I get (meaning everytime Im molding after a gun I have a half thrashed replica of

Ok yeah, I've done molding after tooling and so far haven't had terribly good results... always ends up deformed/flattened/etc.

Yeah, try moulding the leather once from soaked to dry, then remoist it (not soaked) and add details. Still pretty hard but the premaid shape helps to keep the general mold in place!

i would love one like the cross but i would need a different size because i would be using it as part of a vamp hunter costume and would need it to hold something the size of helboys gun lol

Well, a customfitted oneformpressed like the m9-version here) is a no go I'm afraid as I don't have that model to work with=/ A universal holster fitting for it would be no problems tho! Just give me the measurements and I'll see what I can do

Beautiful like always, I love how well you can work the leather. I love all of the holsters, and for some reason when I first noticed this is my DA alert thingy the first thought was that it was very steampunky, and I love steam punk. Have you ever thought about doing any sort of steampunk leather work? Anyways, I would have to see that I love the last holster the best.
