Is the end actually strips of leather woven together? If so, how did you manage that? Was it a different entity that was attached to the holster?
I adore your leatherwork. Iβd say I wish I could do what you do but it would be wasted on me. Iβm entirely too lazy to create the awesome things you do!

No it is not, it is a kind of stamp=/ Unfortunatelly, adding real woven leather to a holster kicks up the risk of the many point features of a gun riping it up This can be done on for example bags tho
I usually cut the strips, lay them out on a plain surface, wove them, together then attatch them to the other pieces to be attatched with leather cement for starters, then sew!

That makes absolute sense! I hadn't considered woven leather interfering with/being vulnerable to damage from the gun.
It's awesome, though, that there's a stamp that gives you generally the same result without that danger.
