That, my friend is a crawfish, also known as a crawdad or mudbug. Lobsters are usually a few pounds in weight, and are over a foot long.

i have a who fish tank full of these little guys! they keep making babys and the babys fill up the tank o.O btw its not a lobster its accually a crayfish (or:Crawfish/Crawdad)

Well, when I asked mum if I could have a lobster, she said: 'I thought you don't eat meat...'. And when I explained her, that I won't EAT it, but keep in aquarium and love, she couldn't belive, that they live not for being eaten by people.

She considers that. But she's afraid of every kind of arachnids, bugs, insects, and snakes too, so I don't think I would have any lobster at home until I moved somewhere else, and it won't happen so soon.
