Wow...I enjoyed the near-symmetry of this piece, and the surprise when the pattern was broken by the little bug within. This photo strikes me as a little unusual since it doesn't look bleedingly sharp the way most macro photos turn out. In contrast it is soft, with details beautifully muted, and an almost zoom-like effect towards the center. A great piece of work.
