I drew this as a birthday present for a friend of mine who is a big fan of zombie and horror stuff. This drawing became an incredible process because nothing was drawn from reference. I was working out of my comfort zone. I made many concept sketches and layout designs until I made the final drawing. I became powerfully attached to this drawing after I put the blood splatter in and I was reluctant to finally give it away, but the birthday girl was very impressed to receive it and cherishes it.

I was going for something like that, without it being static. A lot of my concept sketches were just locked limbs... very boring. XD
