Only Shase's digimon has the eye colour glitch, others like it usually have bright orange eyes.

His base stat is speed, but his strength is almost equal in order make up for his lack of or weak range type attacks (only exception is his mega form).

Unlike other Ummon, Shase's digimon grew up in a Nyaromon village (they had found his digiegg abandoned somewhere near their village one day). One night a group of digimon attacked the village, the Nyaromon tried to fight back but when they saw it was no use,they fled. When Malamon(who had been knocked out) woke up he was all alone, and he remained alone until the day he met Shase.
(oh the tragicness of it all!!!1 lol)

about the species(?) in general:

They usually live in regions of the Digital World which are temperate or cold, thus are weaker in warmer climates.

Ummon live in packs (are usually composed of a majority of Ummon and Malamon, a few Nismon, and up to 3-4 Vehenismon) and don't usually hang out with other digimon. When separated form their packs they become depressive, most can't make it on their own and usually die out.

Malamon love to just play all day, they especially like play-fighting. Although Malamon can manipulate the shape of its collar, it can't use it as a weapon in battle yet.

Nismon - within a pack Nismon are usually charged with gathering food and other useful things, so they hunt, but being virus types they also love to raid other digimon villages. If caught in the act they immediately become violent, they never run from a battle.

Vehenismon are the leaders of the pack, much like alpha wolves. Usually there are more than one in a pack so a part of them guard the young ones, while the others go with the Nismon wherever they are needed. They are usually unfriendly and can quickly become highly aggressive.

Nefanismon are lone wolves, most simply roam the Digital World. Many have been known to work as assassins because they highly enjoy such work.

Cernismon - it is said that this digimon had a revelation on its deathbed, it finally saw all the evil it did up util then and felt the need to atone for its sins, as a result it digivolved into its actual form. This tormented soul wonders around the Digital World in search of creatures it can help/protect.
