I sketched this over winter break while at the beach and found it again yesterday while looking for something already sketched to draw on photoshop. Wasn't really thinking about MerMay, but I guess it works...?ΒI always think of mermaids in a sort of malicious, siren-like way. I can't say this sea dweller would eat you, but bite.... eh.Β

Ohh I really love the background!Β It's really daring to go with desaturated colors since it can make a piece look very bland, but I think you make good use of them for the atmosphere!
