After a little while of walking around and talking, Mae thought it was time to part ways so she could return to her daughter. She thanked Bear for the company and wished him good health. "I hope we see each other again some day" she said smiling, before trotting off towards the other pens. A little later, while munching on some hay, Bear felt something bump into him. He looked down to see a Blue Roan Pony Stud trying to get at some food. What will Bear do?

Shift over and give him some room to eat

➤ Push him out of the way

As bear made some room, the pony began excitedly munching on some hay. He looked up at Bear and smiled. "Thanks!" Bear stared at him. "You're pretty chipper for a horse that's been captured." The little stud looked up at Bear. "Oh come on, it's not that bad!" he said through a mouthful of hay. This guy is way too happy for the scenario he's in. "I've been captured once before, but I don't think I could ever like being here.." Bear was confused, how could this horse be so content on being confined to the pens? The pony replied; "Ah, I've been through this many times. Just think of it as a safe place where the cougars and wolves can't get ya. All the humans do is examine you, heal ya up, and you're free! Shouldn't take more than a few days; it's like a break from the stressful life of living in the wild." Bear smirked, he was amused by the Pony's vigor. He looked out onto the horizon, hoping he'd be set free soon. Sure the pony can stand being here, but Bear was having a hard time being trapped in confined space for so long. He sighed and took a mouthful of hay.

"You've been in some fights, 'aven't ya?" The pony said, glancing at Bear's scars. "A few.." Bear gestured to the one on his shoulder. "This one's from a Grizzly, it's how I got my nick name, 'Bear'." He said proudly. Bear looked back at the pony, seeing a lot of scars. "What about you?" "Oh I've seen my fair share of fights, most of these scars are from some hard core sparring, and some are from stallions who's mares I've covered. I'm pretty speedy, but there's the occasional time they do catch up." The Pony's face turned to a look of pride. "Then again, I can't even count the amount of mares I've mounted and ran away from before the Stallion's even realized what happened'! The pony laughed, and Bear joined in. This little dude was pretty funny. Weird, but funny. "What's your name?" Bear finally asked. "Sebastian." The little stud said with a smile. "You said your nickname was 'Bear'; what's your real name then?" "Barriston." Sebastian smiled. "Well Barriston, it's nice to meet you!" He flicked his head in greeting and went back to eating. Bear nodded and did the same.
