Description
Having witnessed the height and slow fall of the Galactic Republic over millennia, the female energy vampire commander Kalye was part of a species that drained the life forces of others, by way of biting their enemies in order to feed. She had retractable serrated claws, elongated teeth, accelerated senses, and enhanced strength and speed that made her a dangerous enemy even for Republic Jedi Commanders. Able to drain beings of energy to feed as well as turning these beings into mindless zombies, she used this ability to turn Republic Troopers and later Imperial ones into additional canon-fodder for the Separatist Alliance, the Confederacy of Independent Systems army. When wounded, she even could drain a being of energy to heal their wounds, still she could die from too much damage at once or from not healing their wounds fast enough. She got so skilled with her ability, that she was able t reverse the effect of feeding, and heal others by biting them, a process that would severely weaken her, while doing it. She also experimented with draining the energy from droids under her command, but quickly realized that it was no use, even if the Techno Union showed great interest in that theory over all during their research in various species of the Galaxy. Having a liaison with Count Dooku himself for some time during the Clone Wars , Kalye would openly flirt with him, especially if she know it outraged other Separatist commanders and leaders she greatly disliked, something Dooku quickly would tell her to stop. Not seeing her as more then a liaison and with a similar relationship of flirtatious moments like he had with Ventress before. With Kalye however there was more, as the ling-lived Energy Vampire had traveled the Galaxy and experienced much, so she had a sharp mind, a good memory and much of her long life-experience to actually keep Dooku interested in her and what she told him continuously, without it ever getting boring. This relationship however had no consequence in Kalye raising the Separatist ranks, nor her assignments, as she made it very clear that she hated such form of bias and privileges from anyone, not even Count Dooku, who many viewed as the chosen one, or the savior of the Galaxy.

As a Separatist Commander overall, Kalye was attempting to remain victories, as washing away what the Galactic Republic had become over the last decades, centuries and millennia she had witnessed and she personally was fed up with letting this happen and stand idle by. She had also witnessed enough past conflicts between rivaling groups of worlds, systems or within the wider galaxy, raids of bandits, slavers, hunters, space pirates and smugglers alike, learning a few things while doing so. She had also defended herself a couple of times during her odyssey and journeys, which combined made her a quit skilled Separatist Commander, even compared to some of those who had served the regular armed forces of their worlds and systems, or the Republic itself before. Believing that a single individual could make a difference thanks to Dooku, she believed someone like herself with the special abilities of her species could even make more of a difference in the Clone Wars and did her best to fight and win for the Separatist Alliance, the Confederacy of Independent Systems whenever she faced the enemy. Still she too was sometimes cut off, overwhelmed and forced to retreat, or even capitulate from a battle and skirmish from time to time, but her abilities allowed her to either escape, play dead or kill those that had tried to capture her. While testing out if she herself was force-sensitive and could handle the lightsaber of a captured Jedi, she accidentally cut her leg and had to have it reattach later on, while she was healing herself. Her own species abilities and advanced Techno Union Cybernetics meant that she managed to completely heal the cut-off part and regenerate, but ever since the incident she was afraid of light-sabers and chosed to have a personal shield installed in the armor underneath her uniform to survive being struck by a lightsaber or other assassination attempts from afar. This would safe her life during the Droid Rebellion and Uprising, when she nearly was killed, but managed to heal by sucking the life energy out of a few of her fellow wounded organic soldiers to survive and escape, so she could lead the counter-offensive against the treacherous droids to send them to the scrapyard.
