Description

The Mirialan General Bran Reced served as the Commander-in-Chief of the Mirial Defensive Brigade and for the Confederacy of Independent Systems. During the Clone War he answered directly to Archon Sepp Jolavic, Mirial's political and religious leader, but his Mirial Defensive Brigade saw only little action during the initial Outer Rim Sieges, leading Reced to believe his  Zabu 15-blaster pistol would not see any action at all luckily for Mirial. However when Count Dooku ended the Outer Rim Sieges by betraying Darth Sidious/ Supreme Chancellor Palpatine during the Battle of Coruscant, the Separatist pushed the Grand Army of the Republic and the Republic Navy back into the Mid Rim and Inner Rim. Improving Clone Trooper tactics and the use of regular recruits, the Republic Troopers after the Galactic Conscription Act of Supreme Chancellor Padmé Amidala soon proved a whole new threat and the Separatist Alliance, better known as the Confederacy of Independent Systems started to rely on own organic volunteer forces as well to counter the better organic tacticians, strategist and individual thinkers among the Republic Troopers with their own local organic militia and armies. Suddenly parts of the Mirial Defensive Brigade were reformed into the Mirial Offensive Brigade, heading out down the Hydian Way Hyperlane pushing Republic forces all the way down to Denova, Taris and Wayland. While fighting on Skorrupon, Null and Ploo, the Mirial Offensive Brigade under General Bran Reced suddenly had to face Imperialists as parts of the Region split up from the Republic during the so called Tarkin Coup. Tarkin's death at the hands of the Confederate Navy however soon let those Imperial Remnant to fall apart into minor imperial warlord factions, meaning that this region of the galaxy fell under the rule of Imperial Warlord Zsinj, who tried to establish Zsinj Empire in this region of the Galaxy, by attacking Republic and Separatist forces alike.

Fighting hard to have a chance against Zsinjs brutal tactic and his fleet of Uglies, modified starfighters, bombers and capital ships made out of Republic/ Imperial and Separatist technology alike, the Mirial Offensive Brigade fought more defensive battles against the Imperialists alongside Vultan, Rhodian, Zeltron, Nulls, Aqualish, Cathar, Duros, Bith, Gamorrans, Humans, Nikto, Quarren, Drovian, Hamadryas, Ithorian, Trandoshan, Snivvian, Twi'lek, Paaerduag, yes even a few Hutt, Wookiee and Nekghoul (a more evolved and intelligent strain of rakghouls that had evolved in the ruins of Taris) organic forces. In this task they were supported by old and new Battle Droid variants supplied to them by the Separatist Conglomerates. Once the treat of Zsinj was defeated and most of his Empire as an Imperial Remnant annexed by either the Republic of the Separatism a new foe appeared, when both the Separatist and the Republican factions in the Mandalorian Civil War had lost, giving rise to the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders who started to attack nearby worlds outside of the Mandalorian System. This new foe while not wielding an as powerful navy as the Separatists, proved to be an overwhelming for most of the Separatist ground forces, organic and battle droid alike, forcing military units like Mirial Defense Brigade under General Bran Reced to retread back to more heavily fortified positions on their worlds. There they held the line until further Confederate forces arrived, aiding them. In the End they would hold out and assure the Confederate-Mandalorian Border while Republic-Mandalorian fights would continue on for some while. However the hopes of Count Dooku that by showing enough resistance and warrior spirit, the Mandalorians would join the Confederacy of Independent System would have to remain wishful thinking for now. But despite this plan not working out, Dooku would try other direct and indirect approaches to get the Mandalorians to join, either by offering them help, or even with false-flag attacks of Separatists disguised as Republic Troopers trying to retake former Republican worlds the Mandalorians had conquered in their New Crusade.
