Description
Here are some tips on drawing horses. But more importantly, this covers the idea that the procedure for drawing stays the same no matter what you are drawing. Human or horse, you always start with a gesture.
That gesture must have weight, balance and story!!!!
I think Horses are really tricky but they are really fun to draw.
I am considering on doing a video series of this subject, anyone interested?

Have you found time to make a video on this subject yet? I was looking through your site and youtube channel, but didn't see one. I'm trying to get to a point where I don't need to work directly from a photo in order to render a horse even half-way decent and I'm struggling on how to teach myself this. I've finished my first year in university art classes, so I'm familiar with the fundamentals/basics, but for some reason I can't apply gesture and construction techniques from humans to horses. They seem to strongly avoid animals in their instruction for some reason.. I would be highly interested in watching you if you are ever able to upload a video, even if it's sped up and wordless!

A video would be good but I prefer books. That and they're much much harder to rip off online. People nowadys just torrent, and starving artists won't know how helpful your books are until they have it in their hand.
