Time upon time,day after night, night after day
The ever-flowing river,
the ever-melting snow,
Become one.
Leaves fall, pumpkins carved, turkey slain,
Presents opened, new year begun,
it all moves on.
Arrows fly, love is formed, heartbreak.
The seasons change, warm again,
swimming pools and water guns.
It's over soon.
Break comes and goes,
like melody,
oh, swift melody,
Gone far too soon.
Busy hands and busy minds,
wrapped about their busy times...
Even the hourglass stops its flow,
flow then flow then flow, then stop.
Rain may fall, ice may melt,
fire rains down upon the Earth,
But even so, can you truly say,
that anything may truly end?
For you know, it all starts up again,
Time after time,
day after night,
and night after day.
