i made this hat for my boyfriend's youngest sister's grad present. she is now attending U.C. Santa Cruz, whose mascot is a banana slug. since i LOVE molluscs, i couldn't pass up making her something banana slug related. banana slugs live at the feet of redwood trees, hence the color and texture of the hat. the slug is a pin which is fully removable.design and art (c) me
