With all the chances that I getI feel like a marionette
I feel like a bird underground
Unable to flap my wings around
I look at the state I'm in
I realize how incapable I've been
I don't deserve all you give me

Or listening to the same old sound

Like a fish left out of water
Or a pig led to the slaughter

All at once it came to me

Or grief that has been cried

Realistic little poem you got there. I'm sure many could relate.
Though, considering how happily in love you seem to be, the last two poems you've written seem kind of ironic... (I'm glad. So many people I know are having a wretched time with relationships. I always feel a little guilty that I've found my forever-guy and they haven't. Nice to know there's others who are also content. ^_^)

I live next to Asbury Park...there are real Gangsta's there...G's that shoot, rob, pimp and terrorize the residents...I'll try and get some photos of them without getting shot or stomped myself!!!
I know a few of them...they laugh at all the white kids that emulate them...kids get beat up or shot for bringing books from school...some parents buy their kids two sets of books, one for school and one for home...people get home by sundown because they are afraid to be outside in the dark...they are "LEGEND"...kids glorify this lifestyle but in reality it's a very serious problem in the communities where it occurs!!!
There are places in Asbury that a non-Gangsta' had better not go...

we have that part of town too. i am safe because 1) my gangsta friend keeps me safe cuz they're all scared of him, 2) i am not a wanna-be gangsta. 
so i know about all that. my old school was gangsta central in my city. NOT good to be white and outgoing there.
