2011's christmas gift fora necklace with 3 interchangeable pendants, or can be worn all at once.
inspired by the moon, and the concept of the threefold earth goddess.
made out of a woven leather cord, and miscellaneous jewelry findings and beads i had in my stash.

I do that all the time with art - usually because I try harder making other people things, since if I mess up my own work, well, meh. But if I give someone else some second-rate piece I feel really guilty.

well, astronomically, I like the Moon and Venus; the moon b/c it's awesome, and venus b/c it's the planetary ruler of the Taurus, my sign. Or zodiac in general would be cool. or Taurus focused (negative/female, fixed, earth, bull, venus, neck/throat/thyroid). Idk. I like those things especially in my necklaces.

i've done my research on taurus, and i can make necklace of it, even a set perhaps. i would still need to check my supplies (can't until i get over my sinus infection) before i set a price, and then would need length preference and any possible allergies to metal.

huh that's weird about the sterling silver... i'm super allergic to cheap metal and the only metals i can wear are gold and silver, so all my jewelry making stuff is in silver. but that's weird about the silver, usually that's a safe one for people with metal allergies. well i can get around that by using limited wire, doing more beading than wire wrapping, and using a leather or ribbon cord. that fits in with the concept i had anyways, so no worries.

would you like a more symbolic/spiritual taurus necklace, using the colors and stones and numbers representative of it, or would you like it more literal, with the bull and earth imagery? or combination of of both? the pendant will probably involve copper (metal of taurus), but i will make it either removable, or long enough to wear over a shirt. i will keep the rest of the necklace as metal-free as i can
the more symbolic version will cost more, since gemstone beads are expensive, but it will be higher quality.
