It hangs there near the hall
I keep it by my bed

Your arm around me
Hugging me close
We stand out against the crowd
Standing in your blue robe
With an actual smile
You were beautiful that day
Sitting there with your family
I knew that it was meant to be
Watching you throw your hat into the air
Blue was your favorite color
You were dressed up for once
Even with your hiking boots
I was so proud
With a blue carnation
Which you gave to me
It was a day all your own
