Michelangelo of TMNT

Along with his brothers, Michelangelo started out as a small turtle hatchling being effected by mutagen that rapidly grew them in size and intelligence, but also became independent not believing harming innocent people. At some point, they were taught in the art of ninjutsu.

Seemingly the "youngest" of his brothers, Mikey is the most lighthearted, laid-back and happy-go-lucky of the four Ninja Turtles, with a more childlike outlook than the rest of his brothers. His main weapon is a pair of nunchaku in most media. He makes less statements that spoof pop culture than his 2003 TV series counterpart and uses less surfer language than one in the 1987 cartoon series . He enjoys skateboarding, reading comic books, watching tv, but his favorite activity is to eat as much pizza as he ever could.

Not as ordered and disciplined as Leonardo, wise and technological as Donatello, or as rebellious and dismissive as Raphael, Michelangelo has a unique knack for keeping things light under pressure during times of crisis, though this would often upset the others who take these matters seriously. His rat sensei Splinter has a great deal of patience with Michelangelo, but has short tolerance for his childish nature as displayed whenever Mikey is distracted from his ninja studies and misbehaves.
