The idea is delightfully lovecraftian, but some technical details seem to be missing.
Such creatures are usually aquatic, yet the surface of the creature seems quite dry. Perhaps some additional glossiness to the surfaces to convey a wet/slimy texture. The victims(?) skin also seems very dry and flat, though the color/tone is fine.
The counterlight is good, but the main light seems very flat. A little more darkness at the scene edges and a bit more direct light in the center/focus areas might make it pop a bit more and give it more depth.
The victim(?) seems very static. Her pose is VERY symmetrical, and if she's struggling/unconscious/in-the-throes-of-pleasure.....it wouldn't be that way. Her hands, feet and back indicate tension, but the rest seems very limp.
The camera angle is good, but leaves the scene very flat, as it's almost perfectly profile for both subjects. Give it a slight tweak to the right and down, looking up and left slightly, to give a bit more drama to the scene. It wouldn't take a lot of movement of the camera, but could make the image MUCH more dramatic.
Just a few tweaks, and you'll have a truly startling, dramatic image!

Very nice details of the picture, great use of shadows and textures too plus the position works good in this image. The image is very unique in a lot of aspects, the situation of peril, the helplesness of the damsel and the aggresive nature of the monster, this add a lot of Impact to the image.
Perhaps you can adjust the height of the picture so the girl is more at the middle of the pic itself so we can see the head of the octobeast.

OK, while I am into bondage (hence, the name and the stories), I've never really been much into the tentacle thing. Not saying it doesn't have an appeal, it's just never been my thing.
That being said, this piece is very, very sexy. This is the sort of work that is ridiculously simple to write an entire story around... that is to say, it's inspirational. It gives ideas to those who are receptive to exploring such fantasies.
I'd say you did a great job with walking the line that exists, here, between graphic and imaginative. You show enough to imply but not so much that it is abrasive. One can sit and speculate as to the mindset of the captive... why she is lying still, it appears... and reach any one of a dozen suitable conclusions. You capture all of that with a pose - both hers, and the creature's. Splendidly done!
