Made this piece for Pack 12 [EVOLUTION] of Depthcore: [link] which I have just joined (go read my journal or site for more info about that
).A bit rushed to make it in time, I started off with the most pathetically simple 3D render, testament to my non-existant 3D skills, and buggered it hard in Photoshop till it looked like this, my pc almost exploding along the way. This is half-size, there is a full res one on my site for anyone interested :}

Love how you turned a simple render into this. I think it has a amazing colorflow with the sort of shiny looking blue and green colortones.
Also the sort of spiderweb looking grids work really well. (at least they look like that to me) They sort of hold the whole randomness of the piece together. I like that!
Only thing I can't figure out is why you called it Dragon, but that's just a name I guess.

It's real nice and all, but I have a question...
Is it just my computer (because it really sucks and this sorta thing happens often) or is there a line running straight through the middle? And if so, what's it for?

as u say it looks pretty rushed, the 3d does kinda look like its been slapped on top. however i like the fact the 3d is diff to ur standard abstract (ie. not some dark random crap with some pointless lights n beams.etc).
