An oil painting with other media, silver metal and black trimming at add to the effect. The idea/message is breaking apart, moving on with your life and being free and letting go of what has held you back as a child. And explosion of colour and pigment. Also showing the darker side of what has held me back sometimes, hence the black leather-like material, like a leather strap that keeps you tied down and isolated. Then also the metal at the bottom, once was all connected and one big piece is now broken apart and flying freely through the painting. So as you can see, just my own expression of teenagers moving on and become their own person and being on their own.
