I usually don't see an A-Wing being large enough to support that. Then again, snowspeeders weren't any larger. Might be something to consider in the future.

Very nice blend of the McQuarrie original and the RotJ iteration.Β I could easily see this bad boy being the standard New Republic interceptor during the foundation of Luke's Jedi Praxeum in Legends and/or just before TFA in the current continuity.

Unfortunately, no. WEG lost the rights back in 1997/1998. But, Fantasy Flight Games did acquire the d6 license and will be releasing a 30th Anniversary set of the 1st Edition RPG and the Sourcebook. Plus, there is a plethora of fan-books that can be found in these locations, ranging from Star Wars Rebels Seasons 1 and 2 to the Legacy of the Force novels sourcebook:
