I have a 120 color makeup pallet that I ordered off of ebay over the summer that I use for pretty much all of my makeup. It's wonderful because I have so many colors to work with. The only thing I did differently for this one than the others is I used a black eyeliner as a base under the black eye shadow to make it more black

You can tell because the black stands out around the eye especially. It really adds an edge to the look that I think makes it work so well.

And you're welcome for the comment; I'm always on the lookout for amazing eyework like that so that I can have a go myself. I, however, don't have a 120 palette eyeshadow (lol) but I make do with what I've got.

And that's the best way to do it You never know what you will come up with until you try and play around with what you've got! The best part about the pallet was that with shipping and a (workable) brush set, it was less than 30 bucks, so you can't beat that (and I swear it's the bh cosmetics pallet just without the label because it looks exactly the same)
