Highly upset with that Octobrush!!!

Anyways, with all the Splatoon drawings I've been doing, I've decided to make my very own OC based on it. I'm actually more fond of Octarians than Inklings truthfully (They just seem cooler for some reason).

Name: Peppermint
Age: 14
Gender Female
Species: Octarian
Weapon of choice: Octobrush

Bio: Peppermint is her name, and unlike the usual octos, her tentacles are not only shorter, but different from the typical red. Based on an incident during her training, her color changed on her tentacles and was believed to be the reason her ink was no longer effective against inklings; however, held a negative effect upon other octarians. This proved to be a threat among them, and she was to be "Erased" from the premises. When it seemed her fate was sealed, a close friend helped her escape Octo Valley, in which from there, she took refuge in Inkopolis. Despite the fact that she wasn't a threat to the inklings, Peppermint understood that she was not out of danger just yet. Her situation was not different from when she was in Octo Valley. When there were times that she wasn't running from the world, Peppermint tried to figure out how her ink abilities came to be. From what was gathered, the incident she encountered at training camp must've swapped the effectiveness of her ink, as if she was morphed into an inkling. Though it was an unfortunate situation for her, it was still something she could use to defend herself against the Octarian assassins that tend to hunt her nearly everyday.

The gear was self chosen and may not exactly be in the game, but I thought it looked cool lol. I had sooooo much fun making her and I think I want to support her story with more characters in the future.
