So here he is. This is Zeki... my Pendeogan. :B

Personality: In addition to what's mentioned on the ref sheet, Zeki likes to tease and poke fun at people, but not maliciously- more in a friendly way. He isn't cruel by any means, though he often gets called a jerk. He's fairly social while awake and enjoys company, tends to be a little touchy-feely-snuggly and occasionally likes to play wrestle- which about the only rigorous exercise he gets. He doesn't like getting attached to too many people, however, because he feels he misses too much of their lives by sleeping. A side effect of this is that he's extremely possessive of those he does get attached to, including friends, not just boyfriends (yeah, he swings that way). He doesn't like to share in those instances.

As a side note, he's also somewhat sadistic in bed and likes to mark his partners- a crossover of his possessive nature.

History: Zeki's family is small; he was born the only child of an alcoholic father and a chain-smoking mother, so he was accustomed to the smell of smoke and his dad's staggering from an early age. Despite their hooks, Zeki's parents led good lives; his father was a small business owner, and his mother worked as a secretary. The family wasn't poor, but they didn't always have a lot of money to spare, either, so Zeki learned to live with moderation and penny-pinching.

When Zeki was three, his father fell victim to a drunk driving accident- if you could call the instigator a victim- and lost the use of his legs. As a result he came to be basically grounded in the house and became a lot more bitter; as Zeki grew, he distanced himself from his now even more alcoholic and angry father and spent more time with his mother. The woman tried to look after her husband as best she could, and he ran his business from home.

Zeki's life was essentially like that until he hit his teen years; he picked up his father's cynicism about life, as well. Then, of course, one morning he just didn't get up, and slept through a whole day, woke up for six hours, and went back to bed, sleeping way more than was necessary. His mother was concerned at first, but since Zeki had shown no other addictive behaviours yet, assumed that this was probably his addiction settling in. It was unavoidable. Zeki didn't seem to mind, though, because he had to put up with his dad less in a day despite often being home.

He slept through classes and his marks dropped; pretty soon he was barely scraping by with a C, though he did manage to graduate. He never had any serious relationships, either because the other boy would get annoyed with how much he slept and leave, or he would find himself too inclined to think he was missing everything and let them go. Zeki then took two years of college, taking an interest in graphics design, and is currently employed by a web design company- a job he can often work from home, which means more time to sleep.
