Thanks! I spend way too long tweaking these things, going back and forth and seconding guessing myself. Looking back at the PSD, this collage has a total of 13 exposure, curves, or colour balance adjustment layers... 6 were just for the hand, which I originally shot under way too dark conditions. I'd probably save myself a lot of pain if I just took some new hand shots in better lighting conditions!

but... Sorry to tell, I hope this helps :
* you didn't match the light directions, they are almost opposite on the model's skin and your hand : her left shoulder is darker (upper-right for us) and the bottom-left of your hand is darker. So I think the light comes from a high point to your hand and from the bottom-right side of the girl
* there's a lot of light coming from a high point to your hand, so the shadows under the model should be darker

Just think about the light direction(s) ! Next time you can choose your model by lighting too... or try to change it, there are several ways to do that.
You're already doing a great job. I know it was a lot of work, but you can still improve your skills. I don't say I'd do better, I'm just very (who said too much ?) observative.

I shot the background and hand myself, but I don't have any of the elements available online at the moment. I could perhaps look into creating a gallery of hands for others to use.
