A much needed context for this post:
So around two weeks ago, i recently got back into clan generator. One of my favorite cats at the time, Marigoldstar, randomly announced she was expecting kits (she didn't have a mate or anything). I already had the idea of a monarchy within a clan slowly becoming corrupt and slowly destroying the clan from within, so i put it into practice . Eventually Marigoldstar's genes kinda died out, (in fact Weedstar gets her eye colour from her mother who was in no way related to Marigold), but i wanted to get to 10 leaders before i'd let the story come to a close. The current leader of the clan (and last member of the lineage) is Whisperingstar, Weedstar's kit who i will go into further detail on in a future post.
So here's how these cats are related:

Marigoldstar had Nectorsong and Tansystar.
Nectorsong had Lionstar.
Lionstar had Patchstar and Beechleaves.
Beechleaves had Rapidclaw
Rapidclaw had Sunstar.
Sunstar had Beestar.
Beestar had Lighthollow

NOTE FOR THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
All the cats listed as leaders are, in the clan's eyes, seen as legends, they are extremely romanticized versions of the actual cats to create a more toxic and unrealistic expectation for the next leader. The following information tells about who the cats actually were.

Marigoldstar, or Marigoldflake

FUN FACT: the clan prospered and grew the most under Tansystar's leadership.

Lionstar, or Lionberry

Lesbian
FUN FACT: often regarded as one of the greatest leader's in the clans history.
Design note: One interesting thing is that Lionstar has is a stripe that connects her cheek pattern to her eye; this is seen through all the leaders after her. I tried to make her look like a lion i promise i tried TvT

Patchstar, or Patchthroat

Accessory: juniper berries
Female (unknown pronouns)
Unknown sexuality
FUN FACT: they are often regarded as one of the most mysterious and forgotten leaders in their clan's history. Very little apart from basic information is known about this cat, no one knows if they ever had kits or a mate. There is much speculation, one rumor being that they were disabled, some cats thinking they lost a limb.
Design note: Patchstar is the only lineage cat who has a visible scar. Patchstar is also one of the two lineage cats that has greyscale/black on their pelt. The only other cat who does is Whisperingstar. Also their design is just downright one of my favorites.

Sunstar, or Sunbranch

FUN FACT: also regaurded as one of the greatest leaders, like Lionstar.
Design note: I included a sun-like pattern in one of his markings.

FUN FACT: Although not stated aloud or by any cat, it is silently agreed the clan started to deteriorate due to Beestar's leadership.
Design note: I tried to make his markings look like a bee's stripes (or something like them), making them extra pointy for the visual effect and to fulfill my need for pointy characters lol.

Shystar, or Shytuft

FUNFACT: in StarClan, Shystar is often mocked and picked on by other lineage cats for her gentle nature, but is always defended by her daughter, Lightstar.
Design note: idk if this is really important but whenever i look at Shystar's design, it just looks really soft and kinda muted which reflects on her personality.

Lighstar, or Lightclaw

FUN FACT: Lightstar is regarded as one of the fiercest leaders in her clan's history.

Accessory: holly berries

FUN FACT/S: Rotstar has heterochromia (hazel and amber). Rotstar also had ADHD.
Design note: I attempted to make some of Rotstar's markings to look like shriveled plants of some sort. Dunno how good that came across lol.

Weedstar, or Weedstripe

Backtory: clanborn
Female (she/her)
Pansexual
FUN FACT/S: Weedstar is blind, and was the only disabled leader within the lineage, but there is some speculation that Patchstar could have also been disabled. Weedstar is the daughter of Fawndrift, Rotstar's shunned son. It is speculated that Rotstar regarded Weedstar as his daughter and never talked or barely acknowledged his son.

Design note: Weedstar is the only brown or cream cat in the lineage. I tilted her head down to slightly convey disappointment of some sort. Another note, because she is blind, Weedstar's eyes are slightly different; instead of having a shade of darker cyan in the top of her eye, she has a shade of lighter cyan in the bottom of her eye.

Collective facts: Marigoldstar, Lionstar, Shystar and Weedstar are the physically biggest leaders. The smallest are Tansystar, Beestar and Patchstar.
Six out of ten leaders have cyan eyes; the other eye colours are blue, hazel, grey and amber.
