Description
This is a very emotional and personal place in my life and this is the first time I got the gumption to photograph it. When I was growing up my Dad would go with my sister and I (just me after my sister moved out) on bike rides and this was a part of our favorite route. There are a lot of wonderful memories about this place and stopping for ice cream at the local shop about a quarter of a mile away. In July of 2012 my Dad took this bike route on his own and this is where the crash that ended his life occurred. With so much going on the past few years of my life I have had so many mixed emotions and this location, and the meaning it holds for me, seems to explain them all even when I can't find the words.
