I think they look aggressive because their eyesight (from the 2 front biggest eyes) is almost identical to how humans see.
So they actually interact. They see us and check us out.
What we see as aggression in Jumping Spiders is really curiousity. That's why I can work with Jumping Spiders more than any other species.

ew yeah i hate them soooo much! I scream like I'm being murdered when I see one... or freeze in fear... or run away and get someone else to kill it! I actually find that the hard little ones that don't fly are harder to kill.. bugspray doesn't even bother them and you can stomp on them and they just flatten themselves out and pop right back up when you move away. nastiest little buggers ever!
