characters:
"who by fire" - Jackdaw. Her first death was in fire because of Myphos who told to most of the town that she's a witch and works on a thing that will curse all of them

"who by water" - Jackdaw's mother, Odette. very kind-hearted and soft, liked talking to the moon and some other animals, the medallion she gifted before her death to Jackdaw helped her to do that. she also could spend days on the seashores, she loved and trusted water more than herself

"who in the sunshine" - Mary or Masha, Jackdaw's forever love, she reborns with her all the time, loves sun and warm weather, if there is enough water and sun, sprouts and flowers grow on her body. also when she dies plants and flowers cover her everywhere, then they fall from her when there comes another life

"who in the night time" - Jackdaw's dad, Myphos. a terrible guy, murderer, traitor, liar, but without him the story never existed
