Thank you
The first one (starting from left) is one of my images (in gallery) that used a background by ~Qzma , the 2nd a screenshot of several of the tools I have in Linux for monitoring various things, 3rd one is Google Earth zoomed out, the 4th is from a site that highlights the locations of players of the game Pardus, 5th and 6th are both images from my gallery

I like this. I agree with BlueSnow, the keys need letters and numbers, BUT I also under stand what a pain in the ass that is gonna be, so take your time. The part I really don't like is the console texture. I don't think that diamond plate texture works well. Maybe a brushed look........or maybe anodized........or maybe straight black. Lotsa options, but not the diamond plate.

I hate loosing stuff. I thought i had lost the file for "Toys on Table" once, after my divorce. I went crazy tring to find it. I finally found it on a badly scratched cd. It wouldn't read , so I sanded and polished the cd untill I could get the file off. I was so thankfull.

If you look back through my Journals you can read about the WinXP crash, and all about the various Linux I used before settling on MandrivaONE, I lost only a week (thanks to making backups), but the backups were hopelessly incomplete as I'd forgot a whole section of file (this I learned later), it's not a big deal, as this was really the LEAST I'd ever lost before - I've lost whole 80GB hdds of stuff before (it suddenly made noises like an injured moose... and then stopped working -- back before I was making weekly backups - oh wait that is WHY I make weekly backups.. )

That's a 3D model? Looked totally real on the preview! Even if nothing where I live can get that clean, heh.

Yeah, considered it but I'm not using UV textures (just a flat texture) - so I didn't make a bump from it...

My actual monitor at the main computer is a 19" TTX CRT capable of 1680x1440 resolution... I also have a 20" TTX CRT (not sure of the max on it.)

well , alrite - i thought U had a LCD or flat panel - i don't know why -
4 some reason i did ...

SiathLinux In reply to darkKiell [2007-10-12 01:33:16 +0000 UTC]
That would be because of the render sizes I use - most people thought I had a LCD ... hmm oh what - there is an image - [link] and this image - [link]
1st image is the desk I'm at for now - as I need some more Wireless G cards ... the 2nd image is my desk (it doesn't look quite like that right now... )

darkKiell In reply to SiathLinux [2007-10-12 01:56:12 +0000 UTC]
no, doesn't have any thing 2 do with your render sizes - i thought i had
read something about an LCD , 20 in. too - ahat's where muy idear cames
froms - so that's the story - i guess if ur gonna dream, dream big ...

Oh, yeah there are several LCD's that come in 20" size.... (They are not cheap!!! - I've been pricing them )

SiathLinux In reply to darkKiell [2007-10-12 02:18:18 +0000 UTC]
I have to tell you though part of why I haven't put any money aside for the LCD, is that the image of the LCD doesn't look as good as the image on my 20" or my 19" - but they do take a whole lot less desk top space.

SiathLinux In reply to darkKiell [2007-10-13 00:00:28 +0000 UTC]
I'm all about the resolution though - some 'big' flat panel - don't have the resolution that they should - so if you do get one confirm it's max resolution is equal to or better than a similar sized CRT monitor.
